Reef Dive Gloves

Keeping our hands safe and warm when dredging alluvial diamonds is a must! Not only are you able to control the water flow, your hands are also protected from small cuts or snags. And working under water does require a fairly good grip when handling dredging nozzles. Therefore, the 3mm Reef dive gloves has a PU printed palm which provides better grip either under water, or even out of the water. The fingers are pre-bent allowing for better control and making them much more comfortable to wear as your hands can move more freely. The dive glove has a V-Cuff which makes taking off and putting them on much better. The glove seals with a velcro strap, reducing water flow and provides a firmer fit.

Although the gloves provide cushioning for work underwater, care still needs to be taken to prevent them from damage. Tearing and snagging happens regularly, especially with rough handling under water. In our experience, we had tried leather palm dive gloves, but the results were not as favourable. Even though they worked better for diamond mining, the leather disintegrated after a while. We will be happy to supply the leather palm glove if you still prefer. It is just our recommendation to work with the PU printed dive gloves instead.
